Welcome to our blog mon! This has recently changed from just Cheekie's blog to the flock blog...now, I am not so happy about dat, but whatever mon. The main thing is you are here. Okay, this blog is a moving, romantic, love story of a blog. Alright, it isn't quite that, but it does hold the meaning of life. Ok, ok, not that either. What it really is, I guess, is the confused ramblings of a senegal parrot, a conure, and three budgies as they try to find the meaning of life, why celebrities all seem to have drinking problems, how to tolerate each other, but, most of all, how to open the millet jar.

Meet the Birds
Cheekie Kon-Tiki....a Senegal Parrot who rivals Figaro in the ego department, he enjoys talking about himself and destroying stuff. He is generally the dominating male in the flock, and while some provide the brain, he usually provides the brawn, depending on whether or not he'll get paid.
Petrie....the evil-genius conure who seeks world domination. Most of his plotting is done in his Happy Hut, between snack times.
Figaro....the self-obsessed,vain budgie who dreams of being rich and famous. She is Sukiyaki's girlfriend, and she tries to keep him controlled. (Emphasise on tries) To all you hens out there, don't go after Suki, the pain you shall endure afterwords isn't worth it. Seriously.
Aloha-Coconut....when she's staring into space, one wonders whether she's thinking about the meaning of life or wondering how hula dancers get grass stains out of grass skirts. That explains it all.
Sukiyaki Maki Maki....the womanizing ladies' man who has gotten into the bad habit of saying "ladies" a lot. What a creep! Even I, the big narrating voice from the sky, with no gender or personality whatsoever, gets creeped out.
Enjoy our blog, mon!

Jennie wants to be your on line girlie friend
She's thinks your SO cute!! Have a good day with Haley
nice blog! I checked out your homepage, great
I'll check back soon!
Hello everyone! I'm going to try to post here more.
Even though life is busy, being a bird and all that, I still need to practice my webmastering skills. Also, I have got my own e-mail address now. If you want to e-mail me you can do so at CheekieKonTiki@hotmail.com. No spam please, or else you'll find out my beak isn't just for cracking seeds.
Ok, updates, updates, updates! Alright, that darn little budgie, "Smudge", has now moved in full time with us.
Yep, turns out she was too loud for the school! Her new name is "Sukiyaki". Dang it to heck, can't a sennie get a break!!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Next thing is my pet human Haley painted her bedroom where I live. While that would be all find and dandy, it turns out paint fumes are toxic to birdies, so I had to be moved out. I hated that so much I screamed all weekend long.
To get further revenge, I ate all Haley's books.
Another update, Haley has started a birdie re-homing & adoption service.
You can visit it at www.adopt-a-bird.webs.com. I guess I should be happy they aren't in this house, but still.
I'll be doing more updates to my blog and re-arranging some stuff, so keep an eye out!
My flight feathers have grown in so I am practicing flying. It is pretty good, although I still like walking places.
Anyway, e-mail me if you get a chance!
Lotsa love,
Cheekie Kon-Tiki S. Parrot
